Characteristics of the agreement | Access to all the journals available on the Full Journal Package and the possibility for authors affiliated with the Scuola Normale who are also corresponding authors to publish open-access articles. |
Types of articles publishable in open access | Research articles, review articles, rapid communications, brief reports and case reports. Book reviews, Discussions, Editorials, Introductions, Letters, Meeting reports and Proceedings are excluded. |
Journals in which publishing in open access is possible | In hybrid journals and on Gold OA journals (totally open-access online journals) published on the Cambridge Core portal. Consult the list. |
Workflow for publishing in open access | The corresponding author may choose to publish his or her work in open access only if at the submission stage he or she selects the Scuola Normale as organisation of affiliation (also indicating, if possible, his/her ORCID) and utilises his or her SNS e-mail address @sns.it, also on the dedicated Rightslink for Scientific Communications platform of the CCC (Copyright Clearance Center) integrated with the publisher’s web site. The affiliation is verified and validated by the referents of the Scuola Normale. The validation of the corresponding author takes into account the date of acceptance of the article on the part of the publisher independently of the date of the first submission. |
