M'illumino di meno 2024 at the Library

On Friday February 16, on the occasion of the National Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, the Scuola Normale, along with the University of Pisa and the Municipality of Pisa, will join the initiative M'illumino di Meno - which comes to its 20th edition - by turning off all lights of some of its buildings overlooking Piazza dei Cavalieri and the Collegio Timpano on Lungarno Pacinotti, for a few minutes.

Even at the Orologio-Carovana site of the Library, the complete switch-off is scheduled for 6:15 pm for a duration of 5 minutes, and operations will start gradually from 6:00 pm. 

During this time, users are invited to participate and collaborate in the success of the event by leaving the structure no later than 6:00 pm.

Palazzo del Capitano will also host a small exhibition of a selection of volumes dedicated to sustainability, energy, climate change, together with information material.
