Censorship, Freedom, and Research Through the Collections of the Library of the Scuola Normale

The Events Team of the Library of the Scuola Normale Superiore will guide visitors through the Palazzo della Canonica. The tour will include an overview of the history of Piazza dei Cavalieri and general information on the key features of the SNS Library. A selection of volumes will be on display to encourage reflection on freedom of research and expression—principles threatened past and present by attempts at control and censorship.
