New site for the Library of political and social sciences in Florence

On Thursday, December 5th, the new site of the Florence Library at Palazzo Vegni was inaugurated.

The library houses the Political and Social Sciences collection and is open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

For SNS affiliates only, entry is also allowed from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM using their own badge. Please, note that during these hours, the library will not be staffed.

Book lending and returns can be done with staff assistance and in self-service during hours when the library is not staffed: a self-service lending station and anti-theft gates have been installed.

Interlibrary loan: borrowings and returns of interlibrary loan books are excluded from the self-service; both operations will be carried out exclusively by the library staff during the opening hours mentioned above.
