SNS Library initiative for undergraduate and PhD students

This year, the initiative M'illumino di meno (National Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles), to which the School adheres, reaches its 21st edition. In this edition, the traditional date of February 16th, with the turning off of institutional buildings, squares, monuments, and town halls, will only mark the beginning of a whole week (February 16th-21st) dedicated to the theme of energy saving and sustainability.

In particular, the 2025 edition is focused on energy waste in the fast fashion industry and on virtuous alternatives that promote the reuse and enhancement of clothing.

In line with this theme, the Library wants to contribute by providing a space for clothing exchange.

Here’s how it will work:

• When: Friday, February 21st, from 9 AM to 5 PM
• Where: Small room on the ground floor of the Capitano site, piazza del Castelletto 20, Pisa
• Who: Library users
• What: Maximum of 1-2 items per person (clean and in good condition, of course)
• How: Everyone can bring their own clothes and take the available ones. Any leftover clothes at the end of the initiative will be donated to charity.
