Reopening of the Canonica site

The Canonica site of the Library will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 19, with a new entrance located on the left side of the entrance hall (opening hours on the Canonica site page).

The Vasari-designed building incorporates significant medieval structures, which have been carefully restored and enhanced as part of the ongoing renovation project involving the entire Palace.

The new library branch will gradually house the History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences collections, as well as a selection of Humanities and Social Sciences Periodicals.

The Science collection remains available on the ground floor, on the right side of the building.
