Canonica site

Palazzo della Canonica, which looks out onto Piazza dei Cavalieri, opposite Palazzo della Carovana, was destined by the Order of Saint Stephen for the clergy of the knights. In 2012 it was given in concession to the Scuola Normale by the Tuscany Region; on completion of the restoration works, it will be entirely dedicated to our book collections and will house some of the laboratories of the Scuola Normale. At present the Sciences sector of the Library is housed here.

Sciences on the ground floor

The Sciences collection includes the sections of Mathematics, Algebra, Topology, Analysis, Geometry, Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Applied Sciences and Information Technology.
