Canonica site

Overlooking Piazza dei Cavalieri and facing Palazzo della Carovana, the Palazzo della Canonica was originally designated by the Order of Saint Stephen for the knight-priests. In 2012, it was granted to the Scuola Normale by the Tuscany Region. This Vasarian building incorporates significant medieval structures, restored as part of an extensive renovation project that will provide the Library with additional space in the coming years.
